Wiley's Ulloa, Paul Quinn's Bicca earn Week 9 HBCUAC Men's Soccer Awards

Wiley and Talladega College clinched the top seeds in the West and East Divisions.

NEW ORLEANS - October 27, 2025 - Wiley University central attacking midfielder Anthony Ulloa wins Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Offensive Player of the Week. Paul Quinn College goalkeeper Eduardo Bicca takes home Defensive Player and Newcomer of the Week. The men were recognized for their performance between October 20-26, the conference announced on Monday.

Ulloa tied the match against Paul Quinn College on Thursday in the 56th minute with his sixth goal of the season. His goal helped the Wildcats overcome a two-goal deficit to tie the match and stay unbeaten in HBCUAC play. Ulloa is tied for the conference lead in goals. This is his fourth weekly honor.

Bicca stopped seven of nine shots, helping the Tigers to a tie against Wiley. It was his second start at goalkeeper with defender as his primary position. He improved his save percentage to .615.
