Huston-Tillotson, Paul Quinn men move on to HBCUAC Championship Semifinals
SHREVEPORT, La. - November 4, 2025 - West No. 2 seed Huston-Tillotson University and West No. 3 seed Paul Quinn College advance to the semifinals after their opening round victories in the 2025 Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Soccer Championship hosted by the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission at Lee Hedges Stadium.

Manuel Guevara got the Rams on the board in the 14th minute, scoring off a pass from Christian Leon

He scored in the 32nd minute to increase the lead to 3-0.

Christian Kisukulu recorded a hat trick in the second half with goals in the 46th, 67th and 74th minutes. He recorded an assist in the 57th minute.

The Rams outshot the Bulldogs 38-4.

2025 HBCUAC Regular Season Award Ceremony
The HBCU Athletic Conference presented the 2025 All-HBCUAC Awards at the 2025 HBCUAC Championship Breakfast Reception at the Shreveport Convention Center A&B Ballroom. For the first time the conference presented the Elite 9 Award presented by Blooksy in Men's Soccer to honor the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average. Wiley University sophomore Physical Education Major Christopher Haeger won the award with a 3.89 GPA.
